A Lost Week?

Well, not entirely a lost week:

• The painter has finished most of the staining of doors, baseboards, and window frames in the Julia Dean apartment, and he’s painted the steel balustrade in The Laurel apartment.
• The electricians have installed the light switches and electrical receptacles in both apartments. They’re white.
• The cabinet-maker has installed the counter tops on the Julia Dean kitchen cabinetry.

Other than those things, I can’t tell the carpenters have been at the project this week. Several pallets of used brick have appeared in the back of the building to build the brick supports for the eventual rear deck. Nothing really worth a photo this week. Maybe something more will happen next week! I’ve moved my guess of the completion date (originally November 15) to March 15. Sigh.
