And the bids are in!

Yesterday afternoon we opened the contractors’ bids for the Lesmeister Guesthouse construction project! Even the low bid was about $60,000 higher than we’d expected, but it wasn’t unreasonable so we’re now on track to begin construction soon.

The winning bidder was T-Co Contractors, Inc. That’s Ralph “Pink” Baltz and his brother Harold David of here in Pocahontas, and I’m looking forward to working with them as we create the finest vacation lodging Pocahontas has ever seen.
