Drywall Going Up, Deck Footing Going In

Today there’s fresh concrete behind the Lesmeister Building as the workers poured some of the footing to support the building’s rear deck. (photo below)

Also, a crew of drywallers appeared today and almost finished hanging all the wall and ceiling drywall in the building! They’ll probably finish tomorrow morning. (photos below)

Some of the concrete footing that will support the building’s rear deck. The footing is much thicker in the places where stone-covered columns will rest to support the deck.

If you cancel on shorter than one week’s notice, we will charge you for two night’s lodging (or for one night if you only booked one night) unless we are able to rent the room to someone else on short notice. If you do not show up for your reservation at all, and don’t contact us, we will hold the room for you, in case you’ve had travel delays, and you’ll be charged for the whole stay you booked.
