Heavy Steel Columns Arrive At Lesmeister

This morning the Hurricane Isaac downpours stopped just long enough for the workers to set in place the seven heavy steel columns that support the roof over the sidewalk along the front of The Lesmeister Guesthouse building. The columns will be painted to look like wood, but we went with hardened steel to make sure cars parking in front of the building over the years won’t knock the porch down! These columns are big and strong enough to hold up a bridge!
