Lesmeister’s First Christmas

Pocahontas had its annual Christmas parade downtown Thursday evening, and I turned the (temporary) lights on inside the building so people could look through the windows and see what we have done so far. I also put the outline of a Christmas tree in colored lights in the living room to add to the cheer.

Downtown was absolutely full of people, and I stood across the street and smiled as people lingered on the sidewalk, looking in at the building, and of course I took offense at those who just walked on by and didn’t even notice the building! Luckily for my feelings, there were more lookers than not, so it was a good time.
