Lesmeister Pre-Construction Photo Gallery

I’ve added a sidebar link (to the right side of the page) that takes you to a gallery of pre-construction photos of the Lesmeister building, showing how it looked when I bought it last February, and also how it looks now, after we stripped out all the “modern” additions of the 1970s, like display cases, walls, bathrooms, and such, taking it back to how it looked when Lesmeister built it 110 years ago.

It looks a LOT better now than it did in February when it had ugly wall paneling, dirty carpets, and suspended ceilings that hid (and protected) the original pressed tin ceiling of the building.

Current view inside the south half of the buiding.
