Slab Under Rear Deck

The photo below is from last Friday, showing the new concrete slab in the rear of the Lesmeister building. In the center of the slab you can see several spikes of steel reinforcement bar sticking out of the concrete. These are the locations where stone columns will eventually hold up the wooden deck on the rear of the building.

Between the man working in the photo and the stone columns, there will be a set of stairs to carry folks up to the door you see to the right of the photo, and from there on up a few more feet to the rear deck.
