Downtown Pocahontas has a wool mill!

Small Farm Fibers is a small-scale woolen mill in downtown Pocahontas, just around the corner from the Lesmeister Guesthouse. Go in and watch as they transform raw natural fiber into luxurious artisan yarns, hand-made wool fashion, and prepared fiber for fiber artists. In the little mill, products receive enough human attention to be called hand-made. They use ultra-soft 20-micron fine wool and luxurious mohair from local sheep and goats to provide the raw material for their energy-efficient small-scale wool processing equipment. They sell their products at the on-site store and via their online store.
