Rear Deck Columns
Seven massive support columns have been completed behind the Lesmeister Guesthouse to hold up the rear deck. They’re made of 100-year-old brick reclaimed from a demolition near Little Rock and they match the look of the old Lesmeister beautifully. The “real thing” sure beats the computer rendering I’ve used as the top image of this blog!
In the photos below you’ll see openings at the extreme left and right ends of the deck. That’s where they’ll build the stairs to let people get up onto the deck from the ground level parking area.
Also, the last photo shows that they have the wood caps on the rails of The Laurel apartment stairways and along the living area mezzanine.
